Fine Silver Jewelry

My fine jewelry collection consists of one-of-a-kind hand sculpted items made from PMC, or precious metal clay. After forming, each piece is dried, sanded and further refined before firing in a kiln to about 1,650 degrees F. Once cool, I buff, burnish, and polish them by hand with a variety of tools. As a final step, they are treated with a variety of patinas in order to highlight the fine detail.

PMC results in a piece that is between 96.9% and 99.9% fine silver - that's 960 or 999 in jeweler-speak. Because they are so high in precious silver, these unique pieces are softer than sterling silver (sterling is about 92%) so should be handled with care.
