Labradorite Pendant, Extra High Quality, Exceptional Labradorescence

Catch everyone's eye with this stunning labradorite necklace featuring an expertly polished teardrop-shaped labradorite pendant. This labradorite has an amazingly vivid "flash" of turquoise, aqua and green. This is called "labradorescence" - more on that below. The pendants differ slightly in their shape, tones, and labradorescence.

In the pictures, I have attempted to show how the pendant looks both when "flashing" and when not.

Labradorite is described as excellent for awakening one’s spiritual awareness, intuition and psychic abilities. It is said to protect the aura and unite the chakras, with particular benefits for the throat chakra. It can help temper the harsher aspects of one’s personality and help one develop sensitivity and empathy. Labradorite is also said to assist in accessing the Akashic records.

Each pendant measures approximately 1.5" x 0.75" x 0.25" in size and comes on lovely leather cording in the length of your choice.

How to Measure Cording Length: The measurement I need is the full circle - starting at the pendant, going ALL the way around the neck & back to the pendant again.

About the Clasp

The necklace comes with a sturdy, self-aligning Mag-Lok clasp, which is an extremely strong rare earth magnet. To open the clasp, SLIDE the two halves apart - DO NOT PULL (a thumbnail is handy to get it started).

Those with pacemakers should NOT use these magnets. If you need a different clasp, you can state your preference in the “Note” section during checkout.

*Please note this is a custom item. Custom items cannot be fully refunded.

What is Labradorescence?

Labradorescence is a vibrant interplay of iridescent colors. It is not caused by light reflecting off the surface of the stone, but rather from light entering the stone, striking a twinning surface within the stone and reflecting from it. "The color seen by the observer is the color of light reflected from that twinning surface. Different twinning surfaces within the stone reflect different colors of light. Light reflecting from different twinning surfaces in various parts of the stone can give the stone a multi-colored appearance." [geology.com]
