Several months ago I was inspired to create an oil in a similar vein to the anointing oils in the Old Testament of the Bible. Since I have been making oils from resins, I already had some of the components.
I spent some effort gathering other esoteric ingredients from across the globe... some I had not even heard of, such as calamus root and puxuri seeds (Brazilian nutmeg).
Truth be told, this was a total and complete experiment. I had no idea if I was going to end up with something wonderful or a big jar of unusable sludge - but what a spectacular success!
The oil has been slowly infusing now for many months... becoming richer, more aromatic, and more luxurious with each passing week.

What Can Oil of 1000 Blessings Be Used For?
Oil of 1000 Blessings is good for grounding, calming the mind, or meditation. It could also be used as a special oil in ceremonies. It's quite concentrated so you only need a drop or two - but I guarantee you'll be tempted to use more, and it is okay to do so.

Why Offer the Sediments?
I am offering a jar that is unfiltered, so it contains both the oil and the sediments. The sediments contain chunks of frankincense and myrrh resin, cedar chips, rose petals and other wonderful things that are still full of life! This is nice for maximum potency - you might even be able to add a bit of olive oil as it gets low and allow it to continue infusing.
Plus, they look pretty!
The sediments can even be used as incense. I have the type of "burner" that is actually an electric warmer. It's a great way to release the aroma of resins or oils like this because it gently warms them rather than burning.
