End Grain Cutting Boards
Upcycled Hardwood — Oak, Maple, Cherry, Mahogany, Walnut, Alder
Square; 11 to 12 Inches
These are serious cutting boards — as substantial as they are beautiful! Each is a unique latticework of hardwoods for a lovely contrast of colors and grains weighing more than 5 pounds.
Besides being used for cutting, this board can also function as a charcuterie board, or as an impressive foundation for a cheese and crackers spread.
Each board has been sealed with coconut oil, and sometimes also with a natural food grade beeswax and oil blend. The board should also be treated monthly to maintain the grain.
You will get a board very similar to the ones in the photos, but not necessarily identical, because of the natural variations in color and grain, as well as the different wood combinations used for each. They all share similar light, medium, and dark wood tones. Those in the photos are very representative of the lot.
Mike makes all of these cutting boards from reclaimed hardwoods in the Olympia, Washington area.
