This frankincense essential oil is distilled by the same company in The Netherlands that makes the extraordinary boswellic acid extract used in my frankincense resin oil and salve.
Because their distillation process is so outstanding, and because they use the same sustainably-sourced grade A frankincense resin for this essential oil, its quality is unmatched.

What does frankincense oil smell like? It's really lovely. Fresh, woodsy, balsamic - with some occasional lemony notes.
What is Frankincense Essential Oil Good For?
Frankincense is one of the oldest and most traditionally used incenses in the world due to its profound physical and emotional effects, particularly its grounding and soothing properties.
It is often used during meditation and spiritual ceremonies to help calm the mind and nervous system, and to improve mental clarity.
For centuries, the aroma of frankincense (traditionally, from burning the raw resin) has helped people during times of stress, low mood and sleeplessness - helping restore a sense of balance. It is also useful for supporting the breath, especially during cold and flu season.
What Does Modern Science Say?
Modern science supports these traditional uses. One study found that an aromatic compound in Frankincense reduced anxiety and depression-like behaviors in mice.
Some caution must be used when reviewing information about "the benefits of frankincense oil" because of misinformation and confusion that persists about frankincense essential oil vs the resin-infused oil. Many of the medical benefits actually result from compounds in the resin that are not present in the essential oil. We make every attempt to ship orders out in a timely manner. In most cases, we will get your order out in 1-2 business days.
Once your package is in the hands of the shipper, it is out of our hands. If you have provided an email address, you will receive tracking updates. We only have access to the same tracking information as you.
If there is a problem with your delivery, the most expedient way to resolve it is to contact your local US Post Office or other shipper (UPS, Fedex, etc), to inquire as to the whereabouts of your package.
We do ship internationally to select countries. There are import and export restrictions that prohibit certain items, so we cannot ship to all countries.
In addition to shipping costs, please be aware that taxes and fees vary by country and can be quite substantial. There are taxes, duties, and even customs "brokerage fees" charged by certain shippers, such as UPS and FedEx.
When you complete an international purchase from Shungite Queen, you will be able to see the expected charges for taxes, duties, customs, and brokerage fees before completing your purchase, so there will be no unexpected surprises upon delivery.
Damaged or Defective Goods
Please inspect your order upon receiving it. Contact us immediately if the item is damaged or defective, or if you received the wrong item. This happens rarely, but we will always strive to make it right!
Returns & Exchanges
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging.

Exceptions/Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be refunded such as custom products or special orders. If you wish to return a custom item, it may be eligible for a partial refund, so please get in touch with us with your specific questions or concerns.
When ordering custom jewelry, make sure to measure carefully per the instructions provided so we will get it right the first time. Necklace lengths, wrist sizes, etc. We always welcome questions about size and fit prior to ordering!
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, apothecary products, or gift cards.
Refunds
A refund will be issued once we have received and inspected your return. If approved, we will notify you and issue the refund on your original payment method. Please keep in mind it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund - typically a few days.
